A man named Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye) was charged with her murder, and he called Mickey to represent him — on Empíreo's advice. He says he's innocent and Gloria was his friend, and she told him to call Mickey if he ever got in trouble.

While there were some predictable aspects of this series, the cast was really colorful and high energy, which is what honestly sold me on the show. Episode 2 drew me in and by episode 4 I was hooked...

Mickey deduces that Griggs faked the surveillance photo and "suspect" to test whether Mickey was involved in Jerry's murder, and they plan to draw out the Existente killer, with Mickey announcing that he has backups of Jerry's stolen files.
